| Abstract: | Light requirement during the phytochrome-mediated L1-phase ofLemna gibba G3 can be replaced by 10 µg/liter of valinomycinor gramicidin, supporting the idea (5) that a promoted K+-iontransport across membranes would be involved in the photoperiodiclight action on the L1-phase.
