Abstract:The productivity of emodin was improved by N+ low-energy ion beam irradiation and up to 1. 453 mg/L by optimization of medium and fermentation conditions. The optimized medium was composed of Mg2+ (1.5 g/L), ammonium nitrate (10 g/L), peptone (10 g/L) and corn flour (75 g/L). The optimized fermentation conditions were as follows: temperature 30℃, initial pH 7, media volume in flask 80 mL, inoculum rate 10 % and seed age 20 h. The results showed that the growth of LP-0301 and emodin production were separated obviously. The growth stage of LP-0301 was short and the myeelium was small. The stage of emodin production was long and the productivity of emodin was high. The content of emodin from LP-0301 was higher than those of from many traditional chinese medicines, so it was feasible to obtain emodin by LP-0301 fermentation.
