Abstract: | The treatment of adipose tissue of the rat epidiymis with trypsin decreased the lipolytic action of ACTH by 95%, and the lipolytic action of adrenalin by 50%. Supplementation of the incubation sample with lysolecithin suspension led to a complete loss of the tissue sensitivity to ACTH and a 40% decrease in the sensitivity to adrenalin. A conclusion is made about a different structure of adrenalin and ACTH-receptors in the plasma membrane of adipose cells. |
