Abstract: | Cyclic AMP and dibutyryl cyclic AMP promoted cell arrest in G2 in roots during tissue maturation in seedlings of Pisum sativum when applied in lanolin after cotyledon excision. 5' AMP did not promote arrest in G2 in a similar manner. Results demonstrate that cyclic AMP did not inhibit cell proliferation in root meristems when applied exogenously. |
