| Abstract: | Adherin facilitates sister chromatid cohesion, DNA repair and binding of the cohesin complex to chromosomes. New studies indicate that adherin activity is coordinated with DNA replication and chromosome segregation, and that its dosage is critical for gene expression and human development. |
