Abstract:The in vitro activity of a range of fungicides was tested on strains of Botrytis cinerea, Mucor mucedo, Rhizopus stolonifer, and R. sexualis. Di-chlofluanid and dichloran were more active than the other fungicides against all of the strains of B. cinerea, while dichloran, dichlorophen and the dithiocarbamate fungicides were the most active against the Rhizopus species. Only dichlorophen and thiram markedly inhibited the growth of M. mucedo.
