| 摘 要： | 自1991年以来，我国植物区系地理学文献中的“分布区类型”一词广泛英译为“areal type”。这一译法从英语语言上来说是错误的，可能自德文“Arealtyp”一词生造而出。 “分布区类型”以译为“area type”或“distribution type” 为宜。

| Abstract: | Since 1991, the word ‘areal type’ has been frequently appearing in the literature of Chinese floristic geography. This word, which was originally intended to denote ‘area type’ or ‘distribution type’, is actually a wrongly coined term in English, very likely derived from the German word ‘Arealtyp’. |
