| 摘 要： | 椰蛀梗象Homalinotus coriaceusGyllenhal主要分布于南美洲的巴西、圭亚那、巴拉圭、阿根廷北部、厄瓜多尔、秘鲁、委内瑞拉,严重危害棕榈科植物。为警惕该虫的传入,对椰蛀梗象的分类地位、形态特征、分布、寄主、危害、生物学特性等作了简要介绍,并提出预防建议。

| Abstract: | An invasive insect pest,Homalinotus coriaceus Gyllenhal(Coleoptera: Curculionidae) is very dangerous to palm tree,especially the coconut palm in South China because it was serious pest to those plants in Brazil,Guyana,Argentina,Paraguay,Ecuador,Peru,Venezuela in South America.A brief introduction including its taxonomy position,morphological features,distribution,hosts,harmfulness,biology and prevention suggestions was given in this paper. |
