Abstract: | We compared the preferred body temperature (Tb) of fasted and satiated diamondback water snakes (Nerodia rhombifera) in linear thigmothermal gradients. We found no significant postprandial thermophily. Thermoregulatory precision varied among 6 days of testing and was most precise during the first day (24–48 hr after feeding). |
