| Abstract: | Growth and histological changes in a regeneration bud of Hordeumbulbosum during transition to dormancy were studied. Activeformation of new-leaf primordia on the elongating apex accompaniedby arrest of cell division in the lower leaf primordia characterizedthe first period. When activity subsequently in the distal partof the bud decreased, exillary buds and root primordia werestill actively being produced in its basal part. |
