| Abstract: | Diagnostic value determination of microtest systems for biochemical identification of vibrios and their groups identification according to Heiberg's was made with the use of 260 collection strains of V. cholerae O1 and non-O1, as well as microorganisms belonging to other genera and families. The newly developed microtest systems were found to have a number of advantages over the traditional test tube method being more economic, ensuring rapid identification, standard and reproducible results. |
