| Abstract: | Pteleopsis apetala Vollesen is described. The delimitation of Pteleopsis and Terminalia is discussed. It is proposed that the structure of the inflorescence is used as the main distinguishing character between the two genera. The new combination Pteleopsis pteleopsoides (Exell) Vollesen is proposed. |
