Abstract: | Exposure to ethylene at a concentration range of 60 to 70 ppmbrought about an increased stomatal closure within twelve hoursin two species of plants among the four studied. Both tomatoand carnation showed a response to ethylene treatment but couldcompletely recover within 96 hours after treatment.
