香蕉生物技术研究现状与展望

摘    要:本文对香蕉生物技术研究现状进行了全面的概括,包括微繁殖、脱病毒、人工种子、诱变育种、单克隆抗体用于病毒检测、转基因受体及基因转化等,并对今后香蕉生物技术的发展重点进行了讨论。

Abstract:Banana is a major food staple in many parts of the tropics and subtropics. Because of high sterility levels and polyploidy of the edible varieties, classical Musa breeding remains a difficult endeavour. The integration of biotechnology into the breeding programs may provide a powerful tool to produce novel varieties. This paper reviewed the research status of biotechnology applied to banana, which included micropropagation, elimination of virus, artificial seed, somaclonal variation, mutant breeding, monoclonal antibody for virus inspection, molecular biology, acceptor as foreign genes and gene transformation. In addition, further research focus of banana biotechnology was discussed.
