| Abstract: | Membrane barriers which prevent direct contact between Fusarium solani and pea endocarp tissue prevent fungal spores from inducing phytoalexin production. Conversely, preinduced host resistance responses are not readily transported from the plant across the membrane barrier to Fusarium macroconidia. |
