| Abstract: | The comparative evaluation of R. prowazekii vaccine and virulent strains has revealed that strain Breinl possesses greater capacity for plaque formation than strain E. The possibility of using the plaque assay for differentiation of substrains 288 and 281 of strain E has been established. |
