| Abstract: | Using several phosphate-containing organic compounds, alkaline and acid phosphatases have been localized on the membranes lining the canals in the striped layer of the acanthocephalan, Moniliformis dubius. With thiolacetate as a substrate, no response with other esterases was found in the striped layer. |
