| Abstract: | Maximal, isometric, developed tension was measured in isolated papillary muscles from normal and ovariectomized rats. From a comparison of 33 normal rats and 33 ovariectomized rats, there is no evidence to indicate that the development of tension by papillary muscle is altered by ovariectomy. |
