山东淄博第四纪裂隙动物群

摘    要:简要记述产自山东淄博孙家山裂隙群的主要哺乳动物化石,将之分为A、B、C三个动物群。A动物群时代与周口店第18地点相当,为早更新世早期;B动物群时代与周口店第9地点相当,为早更新世晚期;C动物群则可能与周口店第1地点中上部层位的时代相当,为中更新世中晚期。分析不同种类的生态类型并依据最小个体数的统计结果,认为早更新世早期本区为相对温湿的草原环境,附近可能有荒漠化现象;早更新世晚期气候较为温湿,无荒漠化现象;中晚更新世主要为林缘—灌丛环境,气候更为湿润。A动物群是华北地区早更新世早期特有的动物群,略具南北过渡区的特征;B动物群初具现代动物区系的面貌;C动物群基本与现代动物区系一致。

Abstract:Suniashan hill .,{l l8" 5'E and 36" 30,M, 400m above sea level, is siased nearBeimu village about 3O kin south of city. More than ten fissures have beenexposed here by quarrying since l99O. The fissares are located at different levels,filled from higher to lower respechvely with Pmplishred conglomerate, brownishredsandy clay, loess-like fine sandy clay and loess. Fossii mammals (see tabe l) fromthe last thre9 Idnds of sediments of fow localihes (see Hg-2) are respechvely namedas fauna A, B and C.Fauna A can be compared with those of Loc. l8 of Zhouk0udian and Huagkannear Beijing by sharing Alilepus brachypus, theotwus schreuderi, deltrrotamiaspraeC0X Al0Phaiomps terraerrubrae, theeracrttrs yenshanensis, Allocricetus ehile andEpisiphneus youngi, and also with the of Wushan hondnid site of Sichuan byappearance of Niviventer prec0nfucianus and ffeiurotamias praecox The 'age of thefauna, therefore, should be of Ihahaian or boaoan of eary Eary Pleistocene. ofChna. The statishcs of minimum number of individuals (fig. 7A) indicate that mainelements (70.5%) of the fauna are lagomorphs and rodnts adapted to gnssland habtalIf the doannant species Hyperacrius yenshanensi3 is regarded as an ancestor of theliving H wynnei, the environmellt should be relatively tempebo and damp as in thepresent rnmalayan region. However, there Perhaps existed a desenification nearby atthat hme, for the occurrence of jirds.Faua B is compaiable in age with those of Loc- 9 of Zhoukoudian and theof hagyaozitou sechon of Mhewan batin by ccrexistence of Iasiopodomp probrandd,Youngia hagi and cf Ochotona nihewanica. Its age should be of Gongwanglingian oflate Eary Pleistocene of China. Statishcal results of number of ndnimum individualsshow tha the environment was muh wanner and moister due t0 increase of thespecies adapted to forest marginshrub (Hg. 7B).Fana C, all composed of extant species, may be larer in age than Fauna B dueto the existence of Mus musculus, whose fossil record in China is of the middleMddle Pleistocene. As the dowhnant elements adapted to forest marginshmb, theenvironment seems to become muh damper.The mxture of the northem species, such as Aldepus brachypus, Hypotwusschreuderi, deiurotamias praecoX All0Phaioaps terrae-rubrae, theeracrius yenshanensis,Altocricetus ehiki and Episiphneus youngi, and the southm species cf opodemuslatronum and Niviventer preconfuclbnus, shows a faunal bosihon region existed in theeary Eariy Pleist0Cene in Shandong district- Moreovef, the northem Ochot0na andMeriones lived in Shandong indicatos that the boundary between the MongoliaXinjiang and the North China regions was more southem than at presenl From thelthe Eary Pleistocene to middie Mddle Pleistocene, the zoogeograph in Shandonggradually evolved to the preseflt statement
