| Abstract: | The investigation of several species from the newly created subtribe Espeletiinae afforded in addition to known compounds seven new diterpenes and two norditerpenes. The structures were elucidated by intensive 1H-NMR studies. The chemotaxonomic situation is discussed briefly. |
