| Abstract: | Abstract In cultured astrocytes phospholipase A2 seems to be functionally linked to G1 protein of A1 adenosine receptors. Phospholipase A2 inhibition and A1-linked G1 protein inactivation resulted in purine release increase due to protein kinase C activation. |
