| Abstract: | Abstract Flow linear dichroism and fluorescence spectroscopy show that the covalent (+)-anti-BPDE-DNA complex adopts two rapidly interchanging conformations. The binding introduces local flexibility in DNA facilitating further covalent attacks. |
