| Abstract: | Abstract Synthesis of pyrazolo[3,4-c]maleimide nucleosides was attempted, but ring opening reaction of the maleimide part was observed during ammonolysis of sugar-protected pyrazolo[3,4-c]maleimide nucleosides. The isolated pyrazole nucleosides were characterized by NMR spectra and X-ray analysis. |
