Abstract: | Synopsis Marking experiments, 1974–76, showed that brook charr Salvelinus fontinalis and juvenile ouananiche Salmo salar moved very little during the summer or from year to year in the upper reaches of the Caniapiscau River, north central Quebec. The fish were concentrated in rapid sections of the river and there was little exchange between rapids. |
