Two new sesquarterpenoids from the bark of Cryptomeria japonica

Abstract:Two new sesquarterpenoids, i.e. ferrugicadinol A (1) and ferrugicryptomeridiol (3), and one known sesquarterpenoid, ferrugicadinol (2) were isolated from the bark of Cryptomeria japonica D. Don. Their structures were identified by extensive spectral analysis and comparison with the data of known analogues.
