| Abstract: | Efficient synthetic routes have been developed for the preparation of two new polyazamacrocycles tagged with structural motifs recognised by the Trypanosoma brucei P2 aminopurine transporter. Biological testing of these compounds showed highly selective anti-protozoal activity against trypanosomes. |
