Abstract: | Summary Speleonectes benjamini, a species of the primitive crustacean class Remipedia, is a simultaneous hermaphrodite. The male reproductive tract consists of paired testes and vas deferens. Sperm have an ovoid nucleus, acrosome, and a flagellum with a 9 + 2 microtubular arrangement. The spermatophores contain at least three sperm. |
