Abstract: | The complete nucleotide sequence of pADB201, a 1.7-kilobase cryptic plasmid from Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. mycoides, is reported. The sequence contains a single large open reading frame capable of coding for a polypeptide of up to 198 codons long. The sequence of the putative polypeptide shows significant similarity to that of the repF gene product of staphylococcal plasmid pE194. |
