| Abstract: | The synthesis of PdLn complexes (L = tertiary phosphine; n = 2,3,4) is reported. The coordination number results to be a function of the steric hindrance of the phosphine. Two-coordinate, 14-electron complexes, have been isolated with bulky phosphines (PPri3, P (cyclohexyl)3, PBut2Ph). The behaviour in solution of the PdLn complexes has been studied by 13C NMR spectroscopy. |
