Based on the analyses about the current situation of urban ecology study,the paper points out that the mechanism of interactions urban and nature, resource, environment should be probed, the urban ecosystem should be exhaustive studied,and urban ecology should be part in the study of sustainable ecosystem, biodiversity conservation and global change. Reviewing the urban ecology developing history and facing the urban ecology questions, the paper think that combining case study with theory study, uniting fields data with statistical data, linking contrasting study with fixed position study, integrating nature science with social culture, fully utilizing modern techniques and accurately using ecological models are the important methods of urban ecology study.
