Simple broad-spectrum protocol using labiase for bacterial cell lysis to prepare genomic DNA for pulsed-field gel electrophoresis analysis

Abstract:We have developed a simple broad-spectrum protocol using labiase for bacterial cell lysis in pulsed-field gel electrophoresis analysis. The protocol reported here is widely applicable to the preparations of genomic DNA from Gram-negative and -positive pathogens, including enterococcal strains resistant to any conventional lysis protocols.
