Abstract: | Encarsia deserti n.sp., a parasite ofBemisia tabaci Gennadius is described. It resemblesE. formosa Gahan, but has a light brown head and thorax, is smaller, and is biparental. This species was found in Southern California and Arizona parasitizingB. tabaci and was introduced into Israel for the control of this pest. |
