Abstract:Oschmarinella albamarina n. comb. is described from the bile-ducts of a killer whale Orcinus orca stranded on the British coast. The systematic position of the species is discussed in relation to the genera Campula Cobbold, 1858, Orthosplanchnus Odhner, 1905 and Oschmarinella Skrjabin, 1947, and the species is transferred from Orthosplanchnus to Oschmarinella. Campula rochebruni (Poirrier, 1886) is transferred to Oschmarinella, as O. rochebruni n. comb., and Oschmarinella mascomai Raga, 1986 is considered its synonym.
