| Abstract: | Two new compounds of 5-bromouridine, 3'-O-(beta-D-galactopyranosyl)-5-bromouridine and 3'-O-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-galactopyranosyl]-5-bromouridine, were found to be selectively formed in a high yield in a culture filtrate of Sporobolomyces singularis, when grown on a medium containing lactose and 5-bromouridine. |
