A method for the quantitative determination of hypoglycin A in the presence of leucine.

Abstract:A spectrophotometric method for the quantitative determination of the toxic amino acid hypoglycin A in mixtures with leucine is reported. Hypoglycin A is the hypoglycemic principle found in the arilli of the fruit of Blighia sapida (ackee).
