| Abstract: | Condensation of (+)-leucocyanidin with (+)-catechin under acidic conditions afforded the novel 2,3-trans-3,4-cis: 2,3-trans 4,8]-bi-(+)-catechin] as the first representative of a 3,4-cis procyanidin unit. |
