Abstract:
Two luteolin O-glucuronides have been located exclusively in the photosynthetically active mesophyll of primary leaves of rye (Secale cereale). Their structures have been elucidated as luteolin 7-O-β-d-glucuronosyl (1 → 2)β-d-glucuronide]-4′-O-β-d-glucuronide and luteolin 7-O-β-d-glucuronosyl (1 → 2)β-d-glucuronide]. The former glycoside is a new natural compound.
