Abstract:Endogenous zearalenone (ZEN) content in thin cell layers (TCL) of day-neutral plant Nicotiana tabacum L. cv. Sam-sun during the differentiation of floral or vegetative buds were analysed by ELISA, and the experiments of the specific inhibitor of its biological synthesis-malathion (Mal) were carried out. It showed, that there were different changes of endogenous ZEN between the differentiation of floral buds and vegetative buds, and such characteristic changes matched the mitotic activity in bud differentiation. Mal inhibited the characteristic changes of ZEN and the differentiation of floral or vegetative buds.
