| Abstract: | The synthesis and the SAR study of novel pseudo symmetric inhibitors of HIV-1 protease are described. Michael addition of amino acid derivatives to vinyl ketones was utilized to derive a potent (nM) series of HIV-1 protease inhibitors. |
