Abstract:Gene flow is an important factor influencing the genetic structure of plant populations and plays role in the conservation of endangered plants. This paper introduced different methods for measurement of gene flow in plants, analyzed the patterns of gene flow within and among populations. Relation between gene flow and population differentiation was also discussed. At last, implications of gene flow in the conservation of endangered plants were introduced.
