Determination of Intracellular Chloride Ion Concentration in a Halotolerant Cyanobacterium Aphanothece halophytica

Salt inhibition of RuBP carboxylase activity from Aphanothecehalophytica was caused by Cl^-, but not by K⁺ nor Na⁺.
