DNA replication: partners in the Okazaki two-step.

Abstract:The correct processing of Okazaki fragments during lagging-strand DNA replication has a vital role in maintaining genome integrity. Recent findings suggest that, in eukaryotes, the processing of Okazaki fragments occurs by a two-step mechanism governed by the single-stranded DNA binding factor RPA.
