| Abstract: | A simple, discontinuous buffer system for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis near neutral pH is described. The buffer is MOPS (3-[N-morpholine]propanesulfonic acid), the leading ion K+ and the trailing ion histidine. The system offers improved resolution of cationic proteins. |
