| Abstract: | A new method is presented for purifying antihemorrhagic factor in the serum of Japanese Habu snake (Trimeresurus flavoviridis). The method consists of specific binding of the factor to a hemorrhagic principle-conjugated Sepharose, gel filtration and reverse-phase HPLC. The improved method is simple and rapid, providing the factor with a great increase in specific activity and in a high yield. |
