| Abstract: | HHV-6 is a noval human herpes-like virus, Human B-lymphotropic virus.64 sera from normal Chinese individuals in Beijing aged 20-70 were tested for HHV-6 antibody by indirect immunofluorescence test. Of the 64 sera,23 had antibody to HHV-6. The antibody titer ranged from 1 : 20 to 1 : 160. The positive rate is 35.9% and similar to that in Hong Kong. This is the first report about HHV-6 antibody in China. |
