| Abstract: | Notolimea clandestina new species (Bivalvia: Limidae) is describedfrom the littoral of the Strait of Gibraltar. The small size(1 mm) and the persistence of the larval hinge suggest a neotenousspecies. Its area of distribution is likely to be restrictedto the Strait of Gibraltar.
