| Abstract: | The authors here present evidence that Cucurbita moschata, of which numerous cultivated varieties are known and the nativity of which has been in doubt, is an indigenous species of Florida, and that the Seminole pumpkin, long used by the Floridian aborigines, is its prototype. |
