| Abstract: | Racemic trans-6-chloro-9-[2-(hydroxymethyl)cyclopentyl]purine was resolved using HPLC with a chiral column. The absolute configurations of the enantiomers were determined by NMR studies of their (R)- and (S)-methoxyphenylacetates. |
