Objective
Based on physician resource heterogeneity assumptions in Sichuan Province from 2008 to 2014, to explore physician resource allocation fairness, in order to further optimize the physician resource reference configuration. Methods Adjusting the number, the Gini coefficient index to assess the fairness of the density and the allocation of resources from physician demographic, geographic and economic dimensions. Results Primary care physicians declines; Sichuan HRDI value is higher than the national level; after adjustment, according to the Gini coefficient, population and geographical distribution are larger, which indicates that the quality of physician demographic and geographic differences affect the fairness of the physician resource allocation; and it is less affected by the economic distribution. Conclusion Physicians need to consider the allocation of resources in the difference in the quality of doctors, taking into account of the geographical and economic factors. |
