| Abstract: | A technique has been developed that permits the packaging of mini-Mu-carrying cosmids into phage lambda heads. This procedure has several advantages over packaging into Mu helper capsids: the amounts of DNA to be packaged can be increased, the packaging efficiency is improved, and the stability of transducing lysates is high. |
